Senior Technical Artist

A Senior Technical Artist is a generalist responsible for the Technical Art systems for our game titles. This includes the creation, iteration, and delivery of all art based pipelines, workflows and systems in the game. This also includes being responsible for DCC side processes, implementation and maintenance of our Unreal pipelines.
As a Senior Technical Artist you will be expected to work under the direction of the Technical Art Director and the Art Director, as well as provide mentoring and feedback for more junior members of the team. As a Senior, you are expected to help set the standard for both visual quality, performance and processes within the team, utilising your experience to drive both the quality bar and efficiency of content delivery pipelines. You will be part of a motivated and disciplined team, tasked with bringing our game worlds to life, all the while driving visual quality.

With a growing team of highly experienced developers, we focus on creating the exceptional and innovative games of the future. We’re currently working with a AAA publisher in the early stages of a major new project as well as our own IP.

Qualifications/Skills

Required Experience

  • Ability to build and support AAA content to the requirements of the game
  • Experienced working with change control software (e.g. Perforce)
  • Problem-solving and able to provide a clear solutions to complicated issues
  • Strong balance of creative / visual aesthetics and technical skills
  • An ability to take ownership of your work, delivery schedule and priorities
  • Excellent self-organisation skills and an ability to deliver content when promised
  • Motivated, can-do attitude and driven to improve / develop your skills and those around you
  • An ability to help inspire a team to deliver on a shared visual goal
  • Comfortable taking on the responsibility of delivery for the Tech Art team as and when required (i.e. Lead is unavailable)
  • Able to work under direction from your lead or the project Art Director
  • A calm, professional and considered working conduct
  • Shipped at least one AAA title as a Technical Artist, completing a full development cycle
